On Feb 4th 2004, I was on my way to Lagos from Enugu where I had gone to help my aunt launch her fast-food business. My reason for traveling to Lagos was to begin my industrial attachment that was to begin on the 5th (It lasted for about 12 days in total which that is a story for another day).

8,000 km away, a young man called Mark Zuckerberg launched a website called TheFacebook. 8 years later, Facebook is worth $100 bn and I am still on the journey of making meaning.

Congratulations Zuck! You’ve made history and thanks for giving us a different role model. I’m proud of you bro.

Do you remember where you were or what you did on the day Facebook was launched? How far have you come since then?
